Mparntwe Zen Group

Being just this moment with open-hearted attention and compassion

Welcome

We are a small Zen Buddhist meditation group meeting at Red Dust Zendo in Connellan, near Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

The group welcomes people of all backgrounds, whether new to meditation or experienced practitioners.

Zen meditation is a simple practice of sitting quietly and attentively with life as it is.

People sit in a variety of ways according to their needs and comfort, including on cushions, benches and chairs. Practice usually consists of periods of seated meditation with mindful walking meditation between sittings.
